Maintenance on Road Closure on SW 1st Ave and SW 15th Road

FPL is installing a new underground transmission line as part of the Downtown Miami Injection Project to enhance power reliability, support future growth, and strengthen the electric grid in Downtown Miami and surrounding areas. Currently, crews are completing cable installation, splicing, and testing.

Restoration & Timeline:
• FPL will fully restore all impacted roads, sidewalks, and landscaping.
• The roadway is expected to reopen by April 1, 2025, but crews will continue working in the area until September 2025.
• The schedule is subject to change based on unforeseen circumstances.
