Important Dates: Capital Budget Discussion September 7, Vote September 12
On September 12th, the City of Miami Commission will hold a crucial vote on the Capital Budget, which will determine the allocation of funds for the upcoming fiscal year. This decision will have a significant impact on various aspects of our community’s infrastructure and safety. We strongly encourage all residents to attend the discussion session on Saturday, September 7th for the discussion portion of the meeting.
We are advocating for an increase in marine patrol units to enhance the safety and security of our waterways, ensuring a safer environment for both residents and visitors. In addition, we are requesting a substantial increase in police presence, specifically within the Brickell area. With Brickell’s large and growing population, it is essential to strengthen our local law enforcement to effectively address safety concerns and maintain public order.
We invite all residents to attend this important meeting and submit their public comments. Your voice and participation are crucial in shaping the future of our community.
