Celebrating the Not-So-Spooky Celebration
We had an fantastic time at the 2nd Annual Not-So-Spooky Celebration! Instead of the traditional spooky decorations and eerie themes, the Not-So-Spooky Celebration invited us to embrace a lighter, whimsical atmosphere. We are thankful for our generous sponsors: Commissioner Eileen Higgins, City of Miami District 2 Commissioner Sabina Covo, Nicklaus Childrne’s Hospital, The Underline and costume contest prizes provided by the Frost Museum and Miami Childrens Museum.
Families had a blast with a variety of hands-on activities while indulging in the sweet and savory treats of churros, ice cream, and Latin Cafe. The 360 Photo Booth was a hit and was requested by many to capture their fun and happy moments. Storytime by Krystal Valdes was also a hit, providing an engaging and memorable experience for all. Place of Aroma graciously provided a captivating candle-making workshop that captured the attention and curiosity of both children and adults alike. The hands-on lesson was intriguing, leaving everyone with new knowledge and a sense of accomplishment.
The costume contest celebrated the individuality and creativity of every contestant, and we were incredibly delighted to see such a diverse and enjoyable array of costumes.
As the event came to a close, we couldn't help but feel a sense of fulfillment. The Not-So-Spooky Celebration was not only a lighthearted and whimsical event, but it also showcased the unity and strength of the Miami community.
We look forward to the continued success of the Not-So-Spooky Celebration in the years to come, and we express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us in making this event a memorable one.
Thank you all for contributing to an amazing celebration!
