Meet the Candidates Forum | Thank You
On June 30th, the Brickell Homeowners Association hosted a candidates forum for the following races: Florida Congress District 27, Florida House of Representatives 113, State Senate District 38 and 36.
All candidates vying for the seats were invited to attend, but not all could participate due to their schedules. The following candidates were in attendance; Janelle Perez, Vicki Lopez, Raquel Pachecho, Andres Althabe, AJ D'Amico, Alberto Perosh, Frank Polo, and Ken Russell. Additionally, the following candidates for Judges were in attendance Ariel Rodriguez, Candidate for Miami-Dade Circuit Judge, Group 34, and Judge Lody Jean of the 11th Judicial Circuit.
Each candidate made an opening statement followed by race-by-race questions. At times, the passion came through clearly from all corners, but no one ever stepped over the line of civility.
The Board of Directors of the Brickell Homeowners Association would like to thank the candidates, moderators, and the attendees for their participation, their deeply held commitment to their ideals, and their collective concern for the betterment of our community. Additionally, a special thank you to Perricone’s and Remoov for providing food and beverage. This was a worthy event for all involved and pointed out once again the great freedom we share in our country. We encouraged you all to make an informed decision and vote in the upcoming elections.
