How you can #ThankATeacher

The BHA has advocated for more schools with in our neighborhood since inception. This year we continue our focus to advocate on behalf of residents to our elected officials and ask that they provide more public school options for Brickell children K-12. Southside Elementary school is an A rated school with incredible teachers and administrators, we stand with them in appreciation of their service.  We know that teachers play a pivotal role in our society and in the lives of our children, they inspire lifelong learning and help our kids evolve into themselves.

In celebration of Teachers Appreciation week we’ve complied a few ways you can show love to your teachers and administrators.

• Write a heartfelt note to express your thanks. You can find a free printable HERE.

• A gift card with a note.

• Surprise them with their favorite coffee and or deliver their favorite meal

• Create a piece of art, compile a video or write a poem (invite your child to help)

• Volunteer in the classroom.

• Donate supplies to their classroom.

• Delivery sweets, flowers or fruit baskets.

• Stationary to decorate their classrooms.

• Movie tickets
