Urban Core Education Summit

BHA cordially invites you to join us for our “end of the school year” Urban Core Education Summit meeting, where we bring key stakeholders and leaders together to discuss the educational needs of families living in Brickell and Miami’s urban core.

The Urban Core Education Summit meeting is scheduled to take place Thursday, June 21st at 7 p.m. The meeting will be hosted at Emerald at Brickell which is located at 218 SE 14th Street. BHA extends its sincere gratitude to the board members at Emerald at Brickell for offering to host our special membership meeting.

Urban Core Education Summit agenda highlights include:

• MDCPS updates of the Southside K-8 Expansion project and a review of the state of public schools in Miami’s urban core with School Board member Dr. Martin Karp and Central Region Superintendent Mr. John Pace

• “State of UC Schools” 2018 Panel Discussion moderated by BHA’s Director of Advocacy, Samuel Joseph
