The Miami Firefighters Benevolent is hosting a 9/11 commemorative event on Sunday Sept 8th 8:00- 10:00am with a march from Hobie Beach to the pocket park at 1814 Brickell with the WTC steel monument. Firefighters will have a brief ceremony at the beach along with a display by our Fire Boat and then march in formation accompanied by fire and rescue units from the beach to the park in remembrance of the 343 firefighters and all souls lost on 9/11. Resident can also participate in the procession by arriving by 8am at the Beach and they will be invited into the rear of the formation.

Here’s a recap of our incredible Not So Spooky Celebration! We welcomed 605 guests, supported by a fantastic team of 50 volunteers who helped bring the night to life. A huge thank you to our presenting sponsor, Hotwire Communications, and to Commissioner Eileen Higgins, The Underline, CF Miami, Commissioner Joe Carollo, Frost Science Museum, the Miami DDA, and the Brickell Homeowners Association for their support.

The Brickell Homeowners Association (BHA) community meeting was memorable and insightful. The meeting, held at the elegant East Hotel, focused primarily on the Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA) budget and brought together residents, city officials, and business leaders to discuss key updates and developments impacting the community.
