A couple of the issues that are relevant to our community are as follows:

• FR.5 10798 | Wynwood noise program is adding increased penalties and prosecution to violators. We are requesting the same considerations for Brickell.

• FR.3 10797 | Amending Article 1, Section 8-5,” Generally parents not to permit violations of the chapter: safe driving to eliminate reference to motorized scooters; and eliminate article II titles “Motorized Scooters” for an effective date

• FR.2 10602 | Noise; removing the exemption from City of Miami owned properties

• FR 1 9521 | To allow advertisements on news racks and by amending article VII, titled “Newsracks on Public Rights of Way”, to allow electronic news racks

• SR2 10623 | Adding a new section to prohibit encampments on public property and title “offense miscellaneous”

• CA 7 10592 | A resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into an interlocking agreement between the City of Miami and Miami Dade County for the provisions of police roving patrol services within the Brickell Flagler Special taxing district & appropriation resources to the special revenue titled “Brickell Flagler Roving Security Guard Special Taxing District”
