Last night, our event, "Knowledge is Power: Navigating Florida Condo Law and HOA Crimes," brought together industry professionals, community members, and stakeholders to discuss significant condominium and homeowners' associations (HOAs) topics.
The event commenced with a presentation by Alexandra R. Alexieva, the Community Liaison for the Office of Commissioner Damian Pardo. She acknowledged the neighborhood residents' complaints regarding the nuisance of the Afterlife Concert, to review the concerns please click here. She updated residents on ongoing efforts to address traffic, noise, and lighting concerns. They addressed shutting down exterior speakers and lowering the bass across the board. Capping sound levels during all performances, addressing laser lights, and other problems. Additionally, she discussed potential changes to the ordinance, including adjusting the 2 am and 3 am event cut-off times. A modification may allow weekday events to conclude by midnight, aligning more closely with regulations for events like Ultra.
