Helicopter Tours are too close to home
Brickell residents are concerned that Helicopter Tours are flying way too close to their homes and other skyscrapers. Last week residents reported a low flying aircraft that raised numerous concerns and many reports. Residents are concerned that low flying aircrafts could crash into condominiums as it has happened in New York, Honolulu, and numerous other cities. The BHA and residents reported the aircraft to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), who replied and stated that this instance is under investigation.
Tom Pendas is the owner of Tour Helicopter, told Channel10 that he saw the videos and said that what the pilot was doing was perfectly normal. He said it was a photoshoot and he has been doing it for decades. Residents responded with surprise and frustration and they want action taken in order to prevent a potential tragedy.
