Seawall Commission Meeting

The city is considering changes to ordinances regarding the construction of seawalls at the June 25th commission meeting.  
               

The most specific requirement is to raise the minimum elevation to 6 FT NAVD (the current requirement if 4.45’ south of the Rickenbacker Causeway and 3.45’ north of the causeway), however, there are numerous changes to when seawalls must be raised. You can find the pending legislation here.
